The presentation that I found very interesting was the one about the MPAA. It was very interesting because the orginization has to hide the people who rate the movies so they can't be intimidated or threatened to make ratings better for one movie. If the MPAA was an honest orginization they would let people know who the raters are. Also, it was pretty sad that they rate movies with different ethnicities and people with different sexual preferences harsher than movies with white and straight people.

Their are many different cases of steroid use that I have found on my topic. Some people think that it is okay to use steroid if it they are not caught. However, most think it is cheating and so do I.

PLN Semester 2

Doing my reading for my subject I have come across many different cases of steroid abuse in the MLB. One of the most famous ones is Mark McGwire and his scandal in 1998. There are so many cases I cant pick one to research. Steroids are very bad for you and they have ruined many great careers. They also ave tainted the worlds outlook on major league baseball and the athletes that play the game. I have been very successful on finding info about the use of steroids and the many cases. I think that I will be able to get a lot of important information on the subject. 

PLN #3

The book ''Game'' by Walter Dean Myers is about a basketball team at a high school in Harlem, New York. The Chargers have always been good and they get better every year. The Chargers top player, Drew, is the main character and the team considers him the team captain. The Chargers have gone undefeated in the first half of their season and are hoping to do the same in the second half. As the second half begins two new players join the team. One is named Colin and the other is Tomas, who is from Czechoslovakia. I am enjoying the book, especially the details about Czechoslovakia.  Reading about how people live in different countries makes me realize how lucky I am.

In my book Double Play By Robert B. Parker there is one person named Louis that is a good person but does bad things because of many reasons. One of the reasons is that he is an alcoholic and drinks a lot. Also his dad is a mobster and is always getting Louis stuff that he doesn't need so he is always showing off. He tries to get people to kill people Louis doesn't like.

In the book Double Play by Robert B. Parker it talks about a guy that becomes a bodyguard for Jackie Robinson. He has to stay in all of the same hotels and eat at the same restaurants. Everything was segregated back when Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. The bodyguard gets dirty looks everywhere he goes when he is with Jackie. So far it is a very good book and very interesting, I would recommend this book to anyone.
